FA Instructor recert October 19 2025- Class will be 8:30 – 5:00 pm at the  Lifeshield – 635 Portland Hills Dr, Dartmouth, NS – UPDATED

1. Successfully demonstrate selected discipline-specific clinical skills
2. Adhere to the Canadian Red Cross Standards of Behaviour and the group charter
3. Attend and participate in 100% of the course (i.e ., be present and actively provide focused contributions at all scheduled sessions)

Prerequisites:

– A current CRC First Aid Program Instructor certification,
– First Aid Instructors have taught a minimum of three Canadian Red Cross First Aid Program courses during the three-year certification period. Psychological First Aid Instructors have taught a minimum of one Canadian Red Cross Psychological First Aid during the three-year certification period.
– One course must have been taught in each discipline the Instructor is seeking re-certification (course taught must be at the highest level of certification within each discipline; re-certification and blended courses also qualify)
